About the Walk
Our Annual Fundraising Walk is a joyful, inclusive event bringing together families, friends, supporters, and community members to walk side by side for a meaningful cause.
This year, we are walking to raise funds for a Changing Places toilet in our new HF Mencap building on Bolingbroke Road. The walk starts at Riverside Studios at 11:00 am and ends with a celebratory BBQ at our new space- a day filled with fun, community spirit, and purpose.
This isn’t just a walk. It’s a powerful show of support for people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs- those who deserve spaces that respect their dignity and needs.
Walk Details:
- Date: Saturday, 27th September 2025
- Time: 11:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Walk: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm (starting at Riverside Studios, look out for our banner and people wearing HF Mencap T-shirts)
- After-walk BBQ: From 1:00 pm- 3:30 pm at HF Mencap, 72 Bolingbroke Road, London W14 0AH.

Where Your Donations Go
With your donation, we can build a Changing Places toilet in our new space. It is a much-needed, fully accessible facility for our clients. It includes a height-adjustable changing bed, mobile hoist, shower, and other essential features that provide comfort, dignity, and independence for everyone we support.
Your generosity will help create a more inclusive, accessible, and empowering space for everyone we support.
